What You Will Do:
Accountable for providing project support to the Project Leads for Community Expansion projects from Initiation through Design & Procurement stage gates. Project aspects to be considered include the design, detailed engineering, and procurement. Accountable for providing construction management support to Construction Leads from Construct to Close-Out stage gates. Project aspects include contractor/consultant selection (for design/development activities) and stakeholder engagement.
Actively participate or facilitate Design Technical Reviews, Constructability and Operability Reviews, etc. and engage internal and external stakeholders early in the development process to gain alignment on the scope and effectively communicate project status, decisions, etc., as per Project Management Plan to deliver the agreed-upon project result.
Accountable for selection and successful coordination of orientation and onboarding of team members if required to the project, including internal and external contractors. This includes but is not limited to project-specific orientations, training needs, document control processes, successful transition of the project from one party to another, etc.
Ensure compliance with all internal Company and external regulatory and municipal requirements and engagement of internal and external collaborators as needed. Participate in comprehensive design, constructability, operability reviews, and project risk assessments to assist in developing and implementing appropriate strategies to resolve challenges. Any additional measures implemented on the project and associated cost/schedule/quality impact will be added as needed.
Accountable for overseeing testing, tie-in, and commissioning plan creation and facilitating any resources and approvals required, including EGI Work Permits or POW. Responsible for addressing technical questions or problems arising during construction and facilitating the correct interpretation of design specifications, construction and logistics plans, and schedules
Responsible for the construction management aspects of the project; construction, commissioning, field engineering, cost, schedule, quality, safety, environment, and risk as the key elements of execution, following Community Expansion Processes and Procedures and System improvement Project Controls methods.
Who You Are:
You have the following education and experience:
Related university degree and six‐plus years’ experience OR eight‐plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.
Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
Demonstrate effective working relationships with peers and internal/external collaborators.
Results orientated while maintaining a balance between multiple priorities at a time.
In-depth business, industrial and company knowledge is required to perform design analysis function effectively, recognizing impacts on capital dollars and understanding Codes, Standards, and regulations is required.

Following skills are the assets:
Thorough knowledge of Planning, Design & Records, Operation & Maintenance, and Construction policies and procedures.
Working Knowledge with Maximo, GPS, e-GIS, planning and records.
Project management certificate/experience.
Short-term travel to project sites up to 50% of the time during peak construction season is required for the role. Valid ‘G’ License & responsible driving record will be needed.
