RESUMED POSITION

The maintenance technician will have to maintain the building and equipment in order to keep them in good operating condition. Make maintenance and improvements to optimize production.

Under the authority of: Industrial Supervisor


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Installation, trouble shooting, repair and/or replacement of equipment or industrial parts.

· Establish the parameters and frequencies of preventative maintenance.

· Perform corrective maintenance and record the modifications in the maintenance software.

· Perform preventative maintenance and record the modifications in the maintenance software.

· Perform predictive maintenance during inspection tours.

· Participate in workplace health and safety (EHS) projects.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

·   Mechanical or electromechanical training - college degree combined with 3 to 5 years of relevant industrial experience.

·         Ability to read technical drawings.

·         Experience of working in heights and in enclosed spaces.

·         Industrial electricity experience, an asset.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

·         Mastery of the French language.

·         Functional English level (an asset).

·         Ability to read technical drawings and knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment maintenance.

·         Knowledge of the maintenance of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.

·         Autonomy and ability to work under pressure.

 

Asset:

·         Knowledge of "Interral" maintenance software.

·         Knowledge of the "AutoCAD" drawing software.

·         Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

·         Knowledge in welding.

·         Knowledge in machining.

·         Experience operating forklifts.

·         Experience operating cranes.

·         Knowledge of Electrical Safety (Arc Flash).

·         Knowledge of padlocking (LOTO).
