TASK & RESPONSIBILITIES

The main role of the Purchasing Clerk is to be the point of contact for all questions and requests relating to purchasing.

Respond to questions and requests from internal stakeholders in terms of monitoring parts and service purchases;

Communicate with internal customers and suppliers to resolves issues, discrepancies, and other non-conformities;

Update purchase orders in the Genius ERP system and follow up with suppliers;

Be in direct relationship with suppliers, do follow-ups and get their confirmation to ensure the needs for materials will be met;

Develop relevant business relationships with suppliers in order to maintain ongoing collaboration with them;

Monitor product delivery schedules and follow up on orders;

Ensure the logistics of entrants;

Get the prices approved by the purchasing manager;

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

College diploma, AEC or equivalent;

1 to 2 years of experience in administrative support or similar role;

Skills with Microsoft Excel and Outlook;

Experience or ability to learn an ERP system;

Fluent in French and English (spoken & written);

Able to communicate easily in person, on the phone and by email;

Excellent skills in work organization and time management;

Consistent with follow-ups and detail oriented;

Ability to manage stress and priorities in a fast paced environment;
