Purpose of the position

You want to transfer your reliability know-how to a diverse customer base that offers different industrial processes. Do you understand the complex elements that are critical for businesses and have the know-how to act effectively to reduce losses and additional production risks? Do you like to contribute to the reduction of equipment degradation, thus contributing to the improvement of your customers' assets? The reliability consultant has a major impact on extending the useful life of its clients' assets, improving equipment performance and availability. Your expertise and recommendations support our clients in the overall management of their assets and provides them with added value beyond the costs of consulting.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Conduct reliability audits at customer sites; produce reports and recommendations that will drive the implementation of a reliability program, thus favoring the protection and longevity of our clients' assets.
  • Develop Maintenance Strategies and recommend specific tools or equipment to support the programs.
  • Execute reliability programs such as condition monitoring programs including vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound analysis and oil analysis. Lubrication programs and PMO (Preventive Maintenance Optimization) are part of your field of expertise.
  • Develop training programs in order to increase our customers’ knowledge and awareness of reliability. If necessary, give on-site training.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or College diploma combined with 3-5 years’ experience in reliability.
  • A CMRP certification or equivalent is an important asset.
  • Must be familiar with the following tools or methodologies ; Criticality Analysis, FMEA, PMO, RCM, MRO, ODR, RCA, CMMS.
  • Bilingual (French and English), must be at ease in producing efficient and reliable reports in both languages.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to work under pressure and with conflicting priorities
  • Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the customer’s needs.
  • Knows how to promote recommendations to high-level decision makers.
  • Available to travel up to 50% of the time (Eastern Canada).

Workplace: On the road more than 50% of the time.
The Siege Social is located in Kirkland (West Island of Montreal) But this position involves factory work in Kingston to Newfoundland.
