Job Scope:

Are you passionate about supporting and driving a culture of safety within an organization? As a member of the Laurentide team, you are primarily responsible for promoting safety awareness & accident prevention, overseeing and administering Laurentide’s Safety Program, and monitoring safety compliance on Laurentide’s premises and for customer industrial sites. In addition, your leadership skills will allow you to work on innovative HR projects in line with recruitment and talent management.

Your contribution:

  • Develop and maintain H&S policies, procedures and the Companies’ H&S Program;
  • Develop and facilitate workplace and legislated health and safety training to new hires and existing employees;
  • Conduct health and safety audits and workplace inspections;
  • Lead all health and safety committees;
  • Lead incident investigations
  • Manages all incident and work-related accidents.
  • Contributes to the integration program for all new employees.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Human Ressources. A specialty in Health and Safety is an asset.
  • To be successful in this role, a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Health and Safety
  • Ability to communicate in both English and French, oral and written.
