Paint & Plating Process Engineer

 

 

This is an excellent opportunity to join an exciting growing company in a challenging and dynamic atmosphere. Working in a team environment, the Paint & Plating Process Engineer will be led to support the robotic and manual Paint & Plating process in our various facilities.  The candidate will act as technical support for the production, quality and new product introduction groups. 

 

Passionate about innovation, problem solving and development of technology, the Paint & Plating Engineer must be independent, dynamic and responsible and must have good communication skills.

 

 

 

 

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

-          Maintain and improve automated painting and plating processes to reduce non-quality and increase productivity.

 

-          Maintain the paint and plating processes that are stable and conform to the specifications required by our various customers

 

-          As part of the launch of new products the candidate will have to ensure the good start by equipment and working methods that are adapted to the specific needs of the products for the steps of masking, painting & veneering.

 

-          Manage projects to purchase or modify equipment

 

-          Carry out technological monitoring of environmental and health and safety standards and regulations.

 

-          Provide technical support to supervisors, quality inspectors and project teams.

Requested skills

Requirements:

-          Engineering or technician in  (Chemistry, Process or Mechanics)

-          Minimum of five (3-5) years of experience in a manufacturing or related field.

-          Strong expertise in paint & plating processes is essential.

-          In-depth knowledge of applicable codes and standards

  • Computer skills and knowledge of Office Suite
  • Strong interest in teamwork and implementation of continuous improvement projects.

-          Mobile for occasional trips to the United States

-          Bilingualism

-          Knowledge of ISO 14001 standards
