What You'll Be Doing 

 

Join our Contact Centre team as a Bilingual Telephone Banking Representative and make a real difference for our clients. As a Financial Services Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients calling in with questions or requests related to their banking needs. You’ll deepen relationships, quickly resolve issues and identify opportunities to match clients with the right products and solutions that will enable their financial success.

If this sounds like you, but you’re not sure if you’re ready to be on the frontlines of client service, we’ve got you covered. You’ll begin your journey with an industry-leading paid training program that runs about 3 months. 

  • Your training will get you equipped with the skills and knowledge to provide the best possible experience to CIBC clients - we know there’s a learning curve and we’re here to help. 

  • It’s hands-on, so you’ll get the real-life experience you need to rise to the challenge.  

  • The incredible program you’ll benefit from begins with 12 weeks of training and a mix of in-class learning and on-the-job application. The training in class is usually from Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm.

 

A quick note on your availability - our Contact Centre is open Monday to Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to midnight. We’d like for you to be flexible between these hours.  Please note this is a Full time permanent position of 37.5 hours/week. Start date : January 25th 2021.

 

 

How You'll Succeed 

 

  • Get comfortable connecting on a personal level. Don’t be afraid to draw from your own experiences to help our clients. 

  • Be the best listener. Make sure our clients’ feel heard, no matter what the issue. 

  • Study up! Invest some real time in getting to know our everyday banking products and services, such as Personal Deposit Account Open, ​Credit Card Applications, Transaction Inquiry, Transfer Funds, Electronic Fund Transfers, and more. You’ll use your knowledge to connect clients with the right product opportunities. It will also help you proactively suggest everyday banking solutions that will help clients achieve their financial goals.
