Description

We are seeking for a Scientist level I for our Immunology department for our site located in Sherbrooke.

The following are responsibilities related to the Scientitist:

  • Development, optimization and use of flow cytometry assays, immunoassay techniques (ELISAs, ECLs, Luminex) and cell-based assays, (ELIspot, bioassays, etc.).
  • Write scientific documents, correct and review the results.
  • Analyze scientific problems, troubleshoot analytical methods and technical issues and interpret the raw data.
  • Responsible for the management of the scientific project and technical personnel as it relates to study conduct.

Requested skills

We are seeking a candidate who:

  • Have a strong experience in immunoassay method development and troubleshooting.
  • Possess a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Immunology, Molecular Biology or related scientific discipline, or have relevant experience.
  • Be computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel) and possess excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
  • Posses GLP knowledge
  • Experience in the development and validation of immunogenicity methods is an asset
  • Experience in the development and validation of cell based assays is an asset
  • Be bilingual
