Senior Curam / Java Developer

Position Description:

We are looking experienced Curam Developers or motivated Senior Java Developers to join our CGI team in Atlantic Canada!

Skills & Role Requirements
7+ years in Java development, testing, and implementation
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Software Design and Development concepts
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of J2EE architecture
Demonstrated experience with multi-tier architecture web-based applications, Unix, Shell Scripting, Ant, JavaScript, XML/XSD
Strong experience with DB2 and SQL
Working knowledge of system integration technologies
Ability to mentor other programmers in best practice coding techniques and standards
Experience in an complex large-scale environments at the enterprise level
Excellent communication skills
Strong understanding of the SDLC
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
