Canmec is currently looking for candidates to fill the following position: Project manager for its Ontario operations.

The Project manager is responsible for the complete management of construction projects, mainly in the hydropower sector. Planning, organizing, supervising and monitoring contracts will be your responsibility as well as some involvement in the development of quotes. You will be in constant communication with the client ensuring their satisfaction at all times.

Requested skills

  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in a position with similar functions;
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Any other combination of training and experience in mechanical can be considered;
  • Experience in managing unionized construction workforce;
  • Negotiation ability, leadership and interpersonal skills;
  • Rigor and diligence;
  • Fluency in French considered an asset;
  • SolidWorks software skills;
  • Excellent computer skills for project management software and Office suite, Outlook, Microsoft projetc.
