We are looking for a forward-thinking Industrial Designer specializing in clothing and accessories to join an international team of talented professionals at the forefront of trends in their field. We offer an exciting work environment and a state-of-the-art design studio. You will be responsible for imagining, designing, and developing functional, innovative, and ergonomic solutions that lead to technical innovations.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Contribute to the exploration and design of multiple aspects related to the industrial design of vehicle accessories, innovative components, and vehicle functions;
- Play an important role in the development and validation of concepts, working closely with the Design and Product Development teams;
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and define how to meet latent customer needs;
- Put forward ideas for concepts, materials, and designs.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial design (product design or transportation design);
- 5 to 7 years of experience
- Relevant experience in the design and development of accessories and/or driving equipment for recreational vehicles, automobiles, or motorcycles;
- Be able to communicate in French and English (spoken and written) as you will be working with unilingual English-speaking stakeholders;
- Strong sketching skills and in-depth knowledge of 2D and 3D design software;
- Good knowledge of the latest trends in design, assembly systems, manufacturing processes, and the transportation industry.
