We are looking for a talented individual to join our team in the position of Manager Analytics, Campaign Analytics. The primary responsibility is to manage data analytics, deliver recommendations that drive data driven insights for the BMO InvestorLine Business and execute on campaigns.

The role will sit on the Wealth Digital, Data & Analytics team and support the BMO Investorline Campaigns and Leads for the Business Sales and Strategy team with proactive, actionable insights across all products and phases of the funnel from awareness, consideration and acquisition through to lifecycle and loyalty. The successful candidate will be able to go beyond analytics/reporting to provide actionable insights to senior leadership

Key Accountabilities:

  • Take the lead supporting Wealth business. Think strategically and work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Automate campaign reporting and fulfilment for various campaigns executed by BMO Investorline

  • Work with business partners to utilize the different marketing channels available in BMO, in the execution of the campaigns.

  • This role is also accountable to source and organize data from various internal and external databases using a variety of data mining and statistical/analytical tools (eg SAS, SQL). 

  • Work with internal clients and diverse stakeholders to understand their business objectives, scope and KPIs and translate them into concrete measurement plans and data collection strategies

  • Provide insights with data and generate Leads for sales, strategy and marketing.

  • Accountable to deliver analytics, insights and reporting in line with both immediate and long-term business objectives.

  • By providing high quality and timely analysis this role supports sales and marketing initiatives that drive incremental revenue, retention and client satisfaction

  • This position has the responsibility to interpret data and provide strategic recommendations to various Lines of Business and client segments.

  • Improve and automate process using a variety of tools to drive operational efficiency

  • Work with directors and senior executives to drive changes in business processes.

  • Uncover and identify opportunities to increase revenue/improve the customer experience by leveraging statistical approaches against multiple sources of data including internal sales/transactions and external party data/benchmarks

  • Manage, prioritize, and respond to ad-hoc requests


  • Demonstrated proficiency in working with large datasets, both structured and unstructured data, using programming language such as SAS, SQL, Python or related. 

  • Experience in running campaigns through design, execution and performance tracking.

  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, keep track of due dates and proactively find solutions to obstacles.

  • 5-7 years of work experience in Business, Financial industry

  • Good verbal and written communication skills; able to effectively present analytics data to senior management

  • Good knowledge of Online Investing and understanding of current market trends.

  • Post-Secondary education in Math, Computer Science, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Business Analytics

  • One or More Master's Degree in Data Analytics, MBA, CFA, CPA preferred

  • Self-Starter - Strong relationship-building skills. Ability to thrive on a high-degree of independence and ownership

  • Proficient in visualization tools such as Power BI, Spotfire or Tableau.

  • A strong passion for data, charts, analysis, trends, and evangelizing data usage
