QUALIFICATIONS

Abilities:

  • Understands and applies a disciplined troubleshooting methodology when interfacing with customers on advanced technical issues.
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills, solid organizational / prioritization skills and a passion for providing excellent service.
  • Ability to multi-task and be adaptable to changing business environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a cross functional dynamic team environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Must be bilingual French/English (read, write and speak)
  • The ideal candidate would possess an Electronics Technology diploma with at least 4 years of Biomedical experience (B.Sc./B.A. Degree preferred)
  • Experience with Flow Cytometry and Flow Cytometer Instruments, lasers and pneumatics preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Individual must possess effective communication and customer service skills,
  • Must be resourceful and function autonomously
  • Experience with PCs/software/LIS/networking/database management knowledge is an asset
  • Knowledge of Windows and common Office programs (word, excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic understanding of Immunology or other related scientific discipline is an asset
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
