Senior Marketing Manager to manage the New-to-Canada portfolio for a large banking client - 63410-1

Duration: 12 months (possibility for extension)

Location: Hybrid (1-2 days, Downtown Toronto)

To help support the growing requirements with end-to-end responsibilities. It’s a dynamic line of business with initiatives that require strategic thinking and problem-solving, effective communication and time management, strong attention to detail especially in execution, and ability to translate research and data into actionable insights. Main responsibilities, but not limited to, are events sponsorships and strategic partnerships. This individual thrives as a team player and independent contributor, and will be reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager.

Must Have Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Marketing Manager working on customer growth-focused marketing
  • Experience with strategy and campaign management
  • Marketing experience in India or familiar with the Indian market
  • Understanding of Newcomers to Canada, which also includes own experience

Nice to have Skills:

  • 1+ years experience in banking/ financial institutions
  • 1+ years experience in Sponsorships/ Partnerships

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage events sponsorships and strategic partnerships.
  • Support with executional work and campaign management for all NTC as needed (i.e. request for translations and creatives, billing, coordinating with various parties on deliverables, etc).
  • Makes recommendations and /or assists in solving problems to ensure communication solutions are implemented
  • Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders and ensures alignment between stakeholders
  • Identifies and liaises with the stakeholders about opportunities for communications to other groups (e.g. customers, media, etc.) to increase communication effectiveness and alignment
  • Actively looks for opportunities for continuous improvement of communications processes and procedures, and participates/leads communications continuous improvement initiatives
  • Remains alert to new trends, tools and methods of communication, and makes recommendations on their application
