FIFO - Our oil and gas client is looking for an Intermediate Buyer to provide day-to-day support (SAP) for planned turnaround projects at oilsand assets.

*This is an 8/6 fly-in fly-out position that will support multiple sites*


Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years experience as a Buyer procuring materials for oil and gas turnarounds
  • Source materials for inventory, manage Purchase Requisitions, utilize the RFQ process, review supplier quotes, expedite orders
  • SAP experience


Responsibilities:

  • Complete the daily inventory run to purchase requisitions for re-stock and work order requirements.
  • Source materials for inventory, maintenance and operations utilizing the RFQ process in SAP
  • Review and process quotes received from suppliers, including price, delivery, Inco terms, material verification.
  • Co-management of a shared procurement email inbox.
  • Expedite orders needed in a more timely fashion or that are past due.
