Premium: $215 Boot Allowance
Schedule: 5x8 currently
Shift: 3*12 hour night shifts - 6:00pm - 6:30am

PepsiCo Beverages Canada Calgary Facility, is a manufacturing environment that maintains a clean and orderly workspace. The facility is recruiting for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to help support our Production team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining equipment in a satisfactory condition for safe operation
- Executing preventative maintenance schedules
- Performing equipment repairs as needed
- Installing new equipment and systems
- Improving the operation efficiency of production equipment and central services
- Diagnosing/Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and optimizing running settings
- Interacting daily with computerized maintenance and parts programs
- Working with other departments on process improvement activities
- Recommending changes and/or improvements to plant equipment/facilities/procedures
- Working with outside contractors and other trades
- Operating and changing over equipment as required
- Performing all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner
- Keeping work area orderly and clean
- Other tasks as directed by Maintenance lead hands and/or Supervisors
- Working collaboratively with team members
Qualifications:
- Must exhibit a safety-first mindset
- Must hold a valid Red Seal Industrial Mechanic / Millwright license with a certificate of Qualification
- Experience in the beverage/food/packaged goods industry preferred
- Must be skilled in use of machine shop equipment (lathe, mill, grinder, etc.)
- Must be able to lift/carry 50-85 lbs
- Must be able to push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, squatting, climbing, reaching and grasping
- Must be able to work on computers and iPads
- OT is readily available
- Flexibility required regarding shifts; notice provided if a shift change is necessary
- Must be able to work night shifts or weekend shifts as required
