PCX Department Manager

Mandate:

To lead a team of Personal Shoppers and the in store experience of our PC Express program including in-store shopping, customer interactions, handling POS transactions with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring exceptional customer service is provided in a courteous manner to maintain our reputation for friendly, effective, and personalized experience;
  • Develop an understanding of best practices relating to PC Express Operations;
  • Be committed to maintaining operational standards;
  • Be accountable for departmental financial objectives;
  • Work with employees to improve productivity, engagement and retention;
  • Identify opportunities to reduce customer wait times upon pickup at store;
  • To schedule, direct, supervise and discipline department staff and train all new employees;
  • To be responsible for the opening and/or closing functions of the department;
  • To ensure the maintenance of equipment and the safety and sanitation of the production and back room areas, as per Company Policy;
  • To respond to any customer inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring courteous customer relations at all times;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional customer service skills and a talent for building customer loyalty;
  • Flexibility to work a variety of hours which include days, evenings, night shifts and weekends;
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure;
  • The ability to lead, coach and motivate employees;
  • Strong financial acumen to deliver outstanding business results;
  • A commitment to delivering consistent results, every day;
  • Previous retail, grocery retail or hospitality management experience is an asset.
