PVA Consulting is made up of a group of dedicated and passionate professionals, and is currently seeking an experienced Vice President of Business Development, to join its growing team. The chosen candidate must demonstrate a proven track record selling consulting services, or similar service based applications, and has shown to work directly at the executive level.
Our remunerative package consisting of a base salary / commission and health care benefits is highly competitive.
Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Business Development, the successful candidate will be supported by our in-house Director of Business Development, who will be responsible for initiating contacts and setting first meetings. Thus the candidate requires the ability to work within a team framework.
Preference will be given to those candidates who have worked within the management consulting field in a sales capacity.
We seek a candidate who:
ü Has recent experience selling at the C-Suite level
ü Has a proven track record selling services ranging from half a million to several million dollars
ü Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
ü Has experience in conducting presentations to small and large groups
ü Is highly organized preparing on-going sales activity reports and maintaining a customer data base
ü Is highly disciplined regarding client follow-ups
ü Has knowledge of relevant computer applications such as PowerPoint and Goldmine Contact Management Systems
ü Is tenacious, adaptable and goal driven
ü Demonstrates a high degree of confidence and professionalism
The successful candidate must have:
ü Recent sales experience
ü The ability to travel away from home 3 to 5 days a week
ü A valid driver’s licence, passport and a major credit card
The successful candidate will be provided with:
ü In-house training on PVA’s Contact Management System
ü Laptop, cell phone, Internet connections
ü All travel costs including Perdiem
ü On-going training and coaching

ü Are bilingual (English & French)
ü Have a developed Network of Contacts
ü Continuously have sought to upgrade their selling skills through training courses and programs.
