Your function
I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a manufacturing SME in the chemical industry located in Saint-Constant, an HSE Manager to be hired immediately. Permanent position 40 hours/week - Face-to-face
Reporting to the President, you will be in charge of the following tasks:
- Be in charge of HSE projects
- Implement regulations and recommendations from the various bodies concerned
- Implement corporate HSE procedures in line with provincial and federal legislation
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures
- Monitor internal prevention programs in collaboration with various departments
- Carry out HSE audits and draft reports
- Manage governmental requests
- Manage internal incident files
- Old technology on HSE laws and regulations
- Train employees
- Other related tasks
Your professional skills
- Autonomous, initiative-taking and organized
- Good interpersonal and collaborative skills
- A person with aplomb
- Excellent knowledge of Quebec HSE regulations.

Your profile
-Minimum 4 - 7 years' experience in a similar position
-Bilingual English/French
-BAC in chemical engineering or industrial hygiene
-ING title an asset
-Experience on HSE projects
-Experience in chemical or heavy manufacturing
- Salary: $80k - $110k depending on experience
-Bonus up to 8%.
