Description
A critical role in support of licensing of meat and seafood in BC.
The Food Safety Inspection Branch works in partnership with other federal and provincial agencies to facilitate agri-food, meat and seafood safety in the public interest.
The Intake Support Clerk is primarily responsible for supporting branch licensing functions, which includes client services, as well as providing program area support for inspection and compliance and enforcement operations.
Job Requirements:
- Grade 12 graduation or equivalent.
- A minimum of one year of experience providing client service in any environment.
- A minimum of one year of administrative/clerical/secretarial experience working in an office setting.
- Experience using Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- Experience using Microsoft Office Access.
- Experience using Adobe Pro.
- Successful completion of a post-secondary office administration certificate or program.

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 2 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
This is for one (1) permanent opportunity located in Victoria.
