 Position Details:

 You only get one chance to make a good first impression. As a Business Development Agent, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining business relations through direct consumer sales. The key to our success is offering beneficial solutions that make our clients’ experience with us completely satisfying.


Working with an annual business plan with specific goals, this position consists in:

 Generating new business through prospecting activities (over the telephone and in person)

  • Promoting new products and new solutions to clients
  • Developing and maintaining relations with centres of influence and clients
  • Capitalizing on the leads provided by our lead generation system
  • Seizing opportunities to grow your portfolio through group leads and recommendations from your network
  • Actively participating in relevant business trade fairs and community events.

 Qualifications and experience:

  •  College diploma or University degree; Or
  • High school diploma and minimum of 3 years work experience;
  • Possess, or working towards, the Property and Casualty license (AMF)
  • Relevant experience in sales and telephone canvassing
  • Work experience in the insurance industry an asset
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Fluent in multiple languages (asset)
