Description
Reporting to the Director – System Technologies, the SharePoint Analyst is responsible for supporting SharePoint business application development by the business team. He or she will also be tasked with the global optimization of SharePoint as an organizational tool.
The incumbent will do this by:
– Using the 210 SharePoint platform to analyze and develop solutions.
– Managing SharePoint modification requests.
– Participating in the configuration and personalization of the content, user interface and security.
– Understanding and evaluating business requirements and following up with customers.
– Estimating the effort required to meet customer requirements.
– Programming and/or monitoring programmers as required.
– Keeping a close watch for opportunities to make improvements and recommendations.
– With the help of the external programmers, managing the implementation of new functionality when required.
Requirements
Requested skills
- Bachelor's degree in systems or administration with a major in information systems and five (5) to seven (7) years' experience
- A command of SharePoint designer 2007 or 2010 with a solid understanding of 2010 SharePoint internal security and architecture
- Successful participation in a number of documentation management projects
- Experienced systems analyst
- An understanding of customer-oriented development
- Demonstrated initiative and creativity in analysis and problem resolution
- A self-starter with solid professional judgment
- Excellent communicator and team player
- Solid understanding of French and English (both written and spoken)
- An understanding of Microsoft SQL data management and Microsoft Net will be an asset
